Essential Job Duties

Conduct routine and preventive maintenance inspections on Life Safety Systems, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Security Systems, CCTV Systems, Equipment Monitoring Systems, and other electronic subsystems.

Install, maintain, and modify fire detection and suppression systems, Life Safety equipment, card access systems, CCTV, and equipment monitoring tools.

Respond to repair requests and troubleshoot electronic components to ensure systems operate at peak performance.

Coordinate with other teams and vendors to guarantee timely inspections and installations.

Requirements and Preferences

Experience working with security systems and CCTV systems.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic systems.

Knowledge of safety codes and regulations related to Life Safety systems (preferred).

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and vendors.

Experience working with fire alarm systems.

Additional Information Position is 2nd shift, 100% on site. Temporary professional non‑faculty. Compensation $26.44 – $27.00 per hour (anticipated). Valid NC driver’s license not required.
