Overview
CNC Associate or Level I Machinist - 2nd Shift What You Will Be Doing
Assist in the setup, and operate CNC Lathe Machines, CNC Mill/Turn Machines, and CNC OD/ID Grinders. Complete paperwork while adhering to record retention requirements and document nonconforming material; participate in corrective actions identified through root cause analysis. Utilize work instructions, setup sheets and method documents to correctly operate machines and inspect machined parts. Utilize various gauging equipment to ensure conformance to engineering specifications and standards through the production run. Obtain certifications as necessary for required processes. What We Are Looking For
Associate Machinist: High school diploma or equivalent; no related work experience required; general knowledge of machines and equipment functionality; ability to learn new systems quickly. Machinist I: High school diploma or equivalent; 0-2 years’ experience or applicable degree; ability to operate and set up CNC equipment; knowledge of CNC programming/machining including basic reading/editing of programs and related skills (grinding, turning, milling, drilling).
