Service Manager Position Description:
The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars and light trucks. She/he provides mechanical support for the dealership and must proficiently use tools such as computerized diagnostic tools, pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding torches, jacks, and hoists. Duties & Responsibilities: Organizing and coordinating schedules Analyzing and interpreting data Calibrating precise measurements Problem solving Communicating with the public Completing written work orders Manual dexterity Mechanical, technical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:
Refrigerant Handling License & Master Automobile Technician Certification required. Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift or carry 40-60 lbs., bend, kneel, reach, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and handle parts. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Work Environment:
Exposure to weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and noise levels that are usually moderate to loud. Reasonable accommodations are available.
