Welding Quality Inspector (QC)

What You’ll Do
Inspect welds and assemblies for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and non‑destructive testing as needed
Identify and prevent defects such as cracks, porosity, and fusion issues
Use precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and weld gauges
Work closely with welders, engineers, and supervisors to improve processes
Support corrective actions and root cause analysis to maintain high standards
Document inspections and maintain clear, accurate quality records
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in welding, inspection, or manufacturing quality control
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols (ANSI/AWS/ISO)
Knowledge of welding processes including GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SMAW
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems preferred
Previous welding experience, with pipe welding highly valued
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Clear communication and teamwork abilities
