Sales Engineer (Aerospace)

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Austin, TX team. Our ideal candidate would have at least three years of experience in aerospace/defense sales.
Responsibilities
Lead the effort to generate technical proposals, cost back‑up sheets, quotation documents, budgetary estimates, cover letters, and other customer requested documentation
Approach existing and new customers to promote the sales of our Aerospace Component Division products, in order to responsibly grow revenues, assist in managing commercial and technical risks, and meeting overall financial objectives
Create/update product datasheets, technical notes, quotation templates and standard budgets to support Acutronic marketing and productization efforts
Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers
Conduct market analysis using tools to understand existing customers and platforms, identify new customers and platforms and to determine future product development
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university, preferred
At least three years of sales experience in the aerospace components industry, preferred
A combination of experience and education will be considered
Must be a US Person

These products are used on next‑generation aerospace programs and include a range of electric power systems, servo‑actuators, micro‑turbines, and Hybrid‑Electric‑Propulsion‑Systems. We offer standard products and excel at designing highly customized solutions for demanding mission requirements.
