Project Manager - Construction Materials Testing
to join the team in La Porte, Texas. This is an on-site role at the location detailed in the job post. What You’ll Do
Understand Construction Materials Testing business and maintain client relationships; leverage and develop new project opportunities. Attend and conduct project meetings; review project setup; prepare advanced proposals for internal and external review; follow up. Complete contract reviews and negotiations; monitor project budget; initiate change orders. Prepare invoices, review and sign test reports, and assist with project close-out duties. Perform equipment calibrations and address equipment issues or replacements. Supervise field personnel and coordinate the technical team and administrative staff to accomplish project activities. Minimum Education & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited/ABET school. Construction Materials Testing experience. Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record. Effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills; strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work off shift and overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications & Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited/ABET school (preferred). 3 years of project management experience; 2 years in Construction Materials Testing. ICC and/or ACI certifications (preferred). Location
