The successful candidate(s) will be required to work rotating shifts, including 24/7 schedules, and sometimes seven-day continuous schedules. Overtime work (over 40 hours/week) may be mandatory. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Electrical/Electronic Technicians - Essential Job Functions
Perform testing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs of electrical/electronics of NC and CNC controls. PLC software programming. CADD. Maintain, test, and troubleshoot machine tools, control circuits, electro/mechanical and hydraulic servo systems. Maintain plant power distribution. Install, program, and set up Servo, Variable Frequency, and Digital AC and DC drive systems. Repair, adjust, align, and calibrate ENF equipment and systems. Perform other duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications
Two-year Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent experience (4-6 years in NC, CNC, and PLC controls). Understanding of electrical practices, capabilities, and quality standards. Basic knowledge of machine tools, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Proficient in using oscilloscopes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Strong math and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well independently and in a team. Detail-oriented with good organizational and prioritization skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access, Excel).
