This role ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC, company standards, and client specifications. The Foreman leads a crew of electricians and apprentices, managing day-to-day operations from layout through completion. Key Responsibilities
Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews on industrial and commercial job sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to plan installation and routing of conduit, cable, and wiring. Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, motors, control panels, lighting, and instrumentation. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and safety policies. Conduct daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and inspections to promote a zero-incident culture. Monitor project progress, productivity, and quality; provide updates to Project Managers and Superintendents. Coordinate material orders, equipment needs, and workforce allocation to meet project schedules. Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen, promoting skill development and adherence to company standards. Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify problems, and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate documentation, including timecards, material usage, and daily reports. Qualifications
Licensed Journeyman Electrician (preferred) or equivalent field experience. 5+ years of industrial/commercial electrical experience, including supervisory duties. Strong understanding of NEC, industrial controls, and high‑voltage systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and lead crews effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Seniority level
