About The Role At CBRE, we keep commercial spaces comfortable, efficient, and operational. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you’ll be part of a trusted team that ensures climate control systems perform at their best—supporting the environments where business thrives. As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, conducting routine checks and maintaining systems, to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. The position requires 2-3 years of commercial HVAC experience, having strong physical stamina and a foundational grasp of computers is essential. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You’ll Do Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVACR equipment, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards. Diagnose equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications. Apply established procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion. Follow clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks described in procedures; deliver your output under defined processes and guidance. What You’ll Need EPA Universal License High School Diploma, GED, trade school diploma, or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads (50 lbs or more). Ability to follow basic work routines and standards and to exchange straightforward information. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; manage work orders through the CMMS; Teams.
