Construction - Industrial Services Foreman (Millwright)
MMI is an industrial contractor and steel fabricating company based in Mesa, Arizona. MMI has been in business since 1974 and continues to grow each year.
MMI is looking to hire a skilled Industrial Services Foreman (Millwright) who has a minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience as an Industrial Services Foreman and can demonstrate a strong understanding of site safety, project scope and scheduling. Must possess communication skills and be able to effectively use all communication tools made available to him/her. A MMI foreman is a trainer and coach; he should have strong skills with hand tools, power tools, welding, torch, man lifts, crane signaling, rigging and should be able to teach those skills to crew members. Construction and or maintenance experience with an interest in working with manufacturing and process plants, aggregate (sand and gravel), piping, mining, agricultural facilities, and more is required. Most of our work is in the Phoenix metro area with some travel required for those interested in out of state travel. Must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities
Ensure that work conditions are safe and efficient.
Support team members to successfully complete projects.
Read and understand blueprints and specifications.
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment such as safety glasses, hard hat, steel‑toed boots, hearing protection and other PPE as required.
Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote the safe, efficient and timely construction of the project.
Responsible for timely completion of work assignments and project deadlines within the estimated costs while maintaining the company's reputation and high standards for quality workmanship/product.
Instruct and train crew to operate equipment and tools to develop trade knowledge and skills.
Ability to verbally communicate in a professional manner with the project team and customers.
Work with crew to complete daily inspection forms electronically.
Prepare and send daily reports electronically.
Have necessary tools.
Work side by side with the crew on tasks.
Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Can pass a background check.
A foreman must be physically able to:
Perform physical activity such as heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling.
Sto p, kneel, crawl, lay, bend, squat for long periods of time.
Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding or high structures (may exceed 100 ft).
Work in confined spaces.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
