We are looking for a
Staff Engineer
to contribute to our water & wastewater projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in
the Orlando, FL area. Primary Responsibilities: Work on a variety of water/wastewater utilities projects. Serve as our Engineer of Record on design/construction activities for plants and/or pipeline projects. Preparation of engineering reports. Work on project design and permitting. Coordinate master planning-related tasks. Perform (outdoor) construction inspection work, when needed. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering). 4+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with infrastructure / utility projects. PE in FL (we will consider candidates who are able to successfully obtain this credential within 6 months of their start date). Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on infrastructure / utility projects, especially with wet utilities. Experience working on design and permitting activities. Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g.: CADD, GIS, analytical programs, etc.); experience with OpenFlows WaterCAD and WaterGEMS is a plus! Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook). Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments. Seniority Level
