Job Summary Join a
global leader in commercial real estate and facilities management
as a
Building Engineer
supporting daily operations, preventive maintenance, and repairs across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. You’ll help maintain a safe, efficient, and high‑performing facility while ensuring compliance with building codes and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on
mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems
to meet performance standards.
Handle and close
work orders
and
preventive maintenance (PM)
tasks in a timely manner.
Monitor and maintain
HVAC ,
electrical , and
plumbing systems , ensuring reliable operation.
Follow safety and environmental policies, including the
proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials .
Conduct inspections of
fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems
to verify safe and efficient performance.
Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs and emergency repair procedures.
Maintain an
energy management program
to optimize system efficiency.
Comply with all
company, local, and state codes
related to building maintenance and operations.
Demonstrate strong
communication and teamwork
skills when collaborating across departments.
Required Experience
3–4 years
of experience in building, facility, or maintenance engineering.
Proven background in
HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
systems.
Experience performing
preventive maintenance and facility repairs .
Education & Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Trade school diploma preferred.
EPA 608 License
or
NFPA 70E certification
preferred.
Universal CFC certification
or relevant state/jurisdictional licenses a plus.
