Environmental Customer Coordinator As an Environmental Customer Coordinator you will be responsible for servicing customer accounts by managing inquiries regarding Arcwood services, including costs and proper documentation to ensure customer satisfaction. Essential Functions & Requirements Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times

Utilizes understanding of waste generator requirements to provide insights to customers

Manages customer inquiries and questions regarding Arcwood services, associated costs and proper documentation requirements; escalates issues as needed

Builds sustainable relationships and establishes trust with customers through routine communication, ensuring customer satisfaction

Reviews, revises and completes waste profile forms, including SDS review and selection of appropriate RCRA hazardous waste codes; submits waste stream approval to the appropriate department

Develops and utilizes basic chemical knowledge related to various waste types and available disposal options

Participates with cross-functional teams to solve customer challenges and coordinate workflows to proper departments

Provides follow-up on pending and new approvals to enable scheduling promptly

Reviews, prints, and sends new quotes to customers; files signed copies of quotes

Submits samples with required documentation for testing and waste approval as needed

Reviews billing information for accuracy prior to finalization and resolves discrepancies as needed

Maintains accountability for inside sales to increase revenue in assigned territories by working with Sales counterparts

Secures disposal outlets for customer waste managed directly to third-party sites, including approvals, pricing and logistics as needed

Conducts profit and cost analysis on new and current business; identifies opportunities to increase margins

Receives waste orders and completes shipping documentation, manifest, and labels as necessary

Manages non-conforming waste situations in a timely manner

Facilitates customer tours of Arcwood facilities as requested

Maintains thorough and updated customer records

Ability to travel to assigned territory annually, up to 10%

Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

Bachelor's degree (required); degree in environmental science or another technical field (preferred) Experience

2+ years of relevant experience (environmental, manufacturing, industrial, or customer service); required If no Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience (required) Competencies Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Strong communication skills via phone with active listening

Organizational and time management skills with ability to make decisions under pressure

Self-directed with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Basic working knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations pertaining to Environmental Services and DOT/RCRA regulations

Strong working knowledge of computer programs and applications

Regular and predictable attendance
