Writing and editing technical materials, such as equipment manuals, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions Liaising with engineers, developers, and other technical personnel to create and review documents. Leading the creation, editing, and maintenance of all technical documentation for a project or system Developing and enforcing documentation standards and style guides Support technical editing, proofing, and document standardization across all publications Managing the document lifecycle and mentoring junior writers to ensure the quality and consistency of all technical publications. Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, or a related field 9+ years of relevant technical writing experience 5+ years of experience as a technical writer supporting technical programs or DoW/government clients Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and document collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence) Experience documenting IT systems, software tools, or cybersecurity procedures Preferred Qualifications

A Master’s degree in a related discipline Demonstrated experience developing comprehensive documentation suites for major government or defense programs Familiarity with industry documentation standards such as MIL-STD, IEEE, or DoD 5000 series Experience with XML-based authoring tools or structured documentation (DITA, MadCap Flare) Active or recently held DoD 8570 certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP) Clearance Requirements

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Physical Requirements

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
