Our facility also produces an innovative, ultralight, 17-pound 520w module, designed for commercial rooftops and low-load-bearing structures, bringing solar to places traditional panels can’t reach.
2nd Shift Hours: Monday – Thursday, 5:00pm – 3:30am
Key Responsibilities
Assist in analyzing, addressing, and improving all solar-module quality problems
Continuously improve product quality to meet all internal manufacturing standards and PV module customer quality requirements
Collect and analyze internal data, and effectively use this data to drive quality improvement projects
Continuously assess data collection/analysis processes to maximize the effectiveness of our solar-module manufacturing process
Quickly and effectively address any customer complaints or product warranty issues
Assist in the preparation and execution of ISO9001 certification, as well as customer audits, internal audits, LPAs, etc
Support the Supplier Quality processes like incoming material inspections and Supplier CAPA follow-up
Create and/or support the implementation of quality management procedures for new solar-module product introduction to ensure that new product quality levels meet all predetermined targets
Perform Root Cause Analysis for all non-conforming material. Create and implement improvement plans and/or re‑training activities as needed
Ensure that quality‑monitoring and measurement equipment receives proper maintenance, functions correctly, and is calibrated prior to use
Coordinate activities with other shift personnel, as needed
Support other company goals/objectives, as assigned.
Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Experience 3+ years in quality control positions in manufacturing environment
Required Skills and Knowledge
Experience with current solar-module manufacturing processes and relevant quality standards
Proficiency in quality control methods, statistical analysis, and data capture
Proficiency with quality management techniques such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Charts, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong problem‑solving capabilities and attention to detail; ability to identify, address, and prevent quality risks
Strong ability to effectively analyze and summarize the status of quality control projects
Strong sense of responsibility, organizational skills, written/verbal communication skills, and teamwork capabilities
High standard of professional ethics
