Main Responsibilities

Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics Performing preventative maintenance repairs—such as replacing or rotating tires—and completing lubrication and replacement of vehicle components, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles Partnering with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Why Penske is for You

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred) Valid driver’s license Ability to solve problems and confidence using tools Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors Basic computer skills Willingness to follow Penske management guidelines and safety policies (DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety requirements) Regular, predictable attendance As this role involves driving Penske and customer vehicles, a current driver qualification file is required, including MVR checks and DOT requirements Willingness to pass background checks, drug screening, and required physicals; potential travel for training This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive, and the ability to work safely is required. The role requires frequent movement, standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
