Job Description
A highly respected, award-winning general contractor—consistently recognized as a “Best Place to Work”—is seeking a talented
Healthcare Focused Superintendent
to join its dynamic team.
This role would be based out of their Jacksonville, Tampa or Miami office and cover healthcare, commercial & light industrial projects throughout Florida.
Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations at assigned construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Lead, mentor, and manage field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment logistics, and site inspections to maintain project momentum and quality standards.
Monitor project progress, maintain detailed daily logs, and report regularly to project managers and company leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of superintendent preferably with large-scale commercial new builds and renovations - $1M-$15M+
Experience with Healthcare projects preferred
Proficiency in construction management software (such as Bluebeam, Procore, or similar)
Willingness to travel within VA as project needs dictate.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus
