Overview

The Associate Preconstruction Manager works closely with the Project Manager and owner during the design phase of Design-Build, Design Assist and Integrated projects and coordinates other preconstruction resources as required for the delivery of a successful project. This position is the key interface between the preconstruction group and the operations group on such projects and is responsible for designing and developing value-added technical pricing and design solutions from concept through completion of detailed drawings. Coordinates design activities with consultants, subcontractor partners and clients. Works with Preconstruction Services leadership team on developing best-in-class preconstruction services to internal and external clients. Keeps project leadership informed as to all open or unresolved design issues and tracks design and cost changes during the development of a project design. Participates in meetings and presentations to present the benefits of Faith Technologies Preconstruction Services. Utilizes Faith Technologies Project Status Report (PSR), Task Item Analysis (TIA), Roles & Responsibilities Tracker, Preconstruction Cost reports to monitor project progress and engineering, design and CAD project budgets. Oversees the development of designs, cost estimates, value engineering solutions and other supporting documentation as needed for Design Build, Design Assist and Integrated projects. Is the single point of contact for the Project Manager for all preconstruction activities, working with the internal project team to facilitate the development of the project design and design documentation to ensure it meets project goals, objectives and budgets. Provides guidance to project managers during the design phase to ensure that construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate. Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management Experience: 10 years of electrical contracting experience or MEP coordination Travel: 15-25% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday–Friday.
