DAS/ Telecom Construction Technician

Job Description:
As a
DAS/Telecom Construction Technician , you will install RF In-Building cellular systems at various sites, perform equipment and system repair, maintenance, and testing. You will identify and acquire parts for replacement, perform wiring, connection, testing, and maintenance of systems, and respond to scheduled or emergency situations as assigned.
A
DAS/Telecom Construction Technician
will:
Install RF coax cables, fiber cables, and associated connectors and terminations Install radios, antennas, and RF equipment Install conduit/pathways in the ROW by trenching, excavating, or hand digging Use RF test equipment such as PIM units, Line Sweep Testers, or Light Meters to verify functionality Utilize construction documents for planning and site builds Coordinate utility locates and traffic control plans Prepare QA/QC Reports Troubleshoot electrical circuits, RF radios, and antennas Plan installations to minimize waste and ensure safety and compliance Manage subcontractors as needed Work from ladders, lifts, scaffolds, or roofs Perform physically demanding tasks with proper tool knowledge Follow government and safety regulations Utilize digital platforms for record keeping and communication Qualifications
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years' experience in telecom installation and maintenance Ability to pass drug and background screening Willingness to work nights/weekends and outdoors Valid driver's license Certifications such as Anritsu Site Master/PIM are a plus Experience with cellular carriers is a plus OSHA certification is preferred We Offer
