Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Engineering team as Maintenance Coordinator. The Maintenance Coordinator performs service and repairs on hotel equipment while also handling administrative tasks as required, and responds to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and follow up with engineers on scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks.

Possess basic knowledge of HVAC systems and assist with routine maintenance as needed.

Monitor building temperatures via the BMS (Building Management System) and perform physical temperature checks throughout the facility.

Manage and follow up on equipment repairs, including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and related systems throughout the building.

Assist in ordering supplies via BirchStreet and ensure timely updating of invoices.

Monitor par stock levels and oversee the distribution of inventory items.

Respond promptly to guest service calls regarding maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.

Maintain cleanliness in all Engineering areas, including grease traps and plumbing systems, and support an organized department and hotel environment.

React effectively to all emergency situations, including fires and power outages.

Support the installation or relocation of any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary.

Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.

Support the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and of electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.

Qualifications

High School education or equivalent required

3 months to 1 year employment in a related position within Four Seasons or other organizations

Working Technical Knowledge of general building maintenance is required.

Schedule and Hours

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work mornings, days, nights, evenings, weekends and holidays.
