Project Manager
Position Summary
The
Project Manager
is responsible for the comprehensive management of industrial and construction projects, with a strong emphasis on scaffolding, insulation, coatings, and related services. This role oversees the full project lifecycle—from cost estimating and bid preparation to on‑site execution and completion—while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The Project Manager collaborates closely with Safety, Operations, and Environmental teams to assess project feasibility, allocate resources, and maintain profitability. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as strong knowledge of construction practices, project planning, and field operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage construction and industrial projects involving scaffolding, insulation, coatings, and maintenance services.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals using company‑approved pricing models and historical data.
Analyze project specifications, RFQs, and site assessments to determine labor, materials, equipment, and logistics requirements.
Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and Environmental teams to validate project feasibility and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost‑effective project delivery.
Lead on‑site project activities and direct Site Supervisors, Foremen, and field personnel to ensure compliance with scope, safety, and quality standards.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and rental equipment to achieve operational efficiency.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track project costs, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, schedules, and cost records.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders through proactive communication and dependable service.
Support Business Development and estimating teams by providing technical input for bids and proposals.
Ensure all project sites complete required safety audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor and coach site teams to reinforce a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
Partner with Finance and Operations to review and report on project performance and profitability.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within industrial or construction environments, with direct experience in scaffolding and insulation projects.
Technical Skills Strong understanding of construction principles, industrial maintenance, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with project scheduling and cost‑tracking software preferred.

Ability to safely operate a vehicle for prolonged periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Regular exposure to construction and plant environments, requiring use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.
May involve travel between job sites and customer locations.
