Lucid Motors is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment where you will work with a highly motivated team on extremely challenging projects. In addition to developing manufacturing equipment and processes, the Sr. Manufacturing (Quality Engineer) work with cross‑functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with Design Engineering, Quality and Production to take product design changes and new designs from initial concept through prototype development and into full production.
You Will
Lead Quality Engineers efforts focused to achieve world-class results
Develop & manage the single agenda for quality to acknowledge, guide & focus the organization on the quality high hitters affecting our customers
Translate voice of customer, assure a clear deployment from quality engineers & key company positions
Facilitate the close collaboration with design, manufacturing & supplier chain teams to define quality acceptance standards and implement immediate actions focused on protect our customer’s satisfaction
Coordinate & maintain quality confirmation mapping and use this document as visual control tool
Create the process to identify critical characteristics and monitor their performance through a robust control plans
Confirm action’s impact on internal & external indicators
Encourage the organization to achieve best in the world results through a constant continuous improvement and proactive mindset
Travel up to 25%, occasionally on short notice
You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and +5 years of equivalent experience required in automotive Industry
Exemplary verbal, written and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership ability to build outstanding teams and interface well with senior & executive management
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S and Six Sigma process
Certification preferred – American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc. capability to implement actions oriented to customers, building a good quality image, reliability & market acceptance
Ability to create improvement plans for quality with productive areas to achieve desired results
Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities
