We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
CNC Programmer and or Machinist
to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, G-code programming, and quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Programming: Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM).
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop machining strategies.
Optimize tool paths and machining parameters for efficiency and accuracy.
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment.
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain tolerances.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
Document and report any deviations or issues during production.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine or tooling issues.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code.
Experience with CAM software and CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens).
Preferred:
Associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing.
Experience with multi‑axis machining and complex geometries.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
