Location: Dayton, OH (Surrounding Areas)

FLSA Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt – $38.00 to $43.70 per hour with additional retirement plan.

General Duties and Responsibilities

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.

Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes to ensure safety.

Use a variety of tools and equipment, including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing instruments like oscilloscopes and test lamps.

Repair and install electrical devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, switches, motors, and lighting ballast.

Assist in keeping building common areas and electrical spaces neat, orderly, and safe.

Accomplish work in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and national and local codes; update as‑built drawings as needed.

Attend toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency; cover topics such as harassment prevention and ethics.

Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health certification.

Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.

Work Environment The role requires working outdoors, being exposed to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical and electrical parts, high or precarious places, dust, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and varying weather. Noise levels are typically moderate to loud and there is a risk of electrical shock and vibration.
