About the Role As our Construction Foreman, you’ll lead the on‑site installation team to deliver exceptional outdoor living projects. You are responsible for managing daily site operations, ensuring the crew has the resources they need, and upholding our high standards of craftsmanship, safety, and customer service. This role requires a seasoned builder and strong leader who can motivate crews, solve problems on the fly, and communicate effectively with project managers, designers, and clients. Responsibilities • Lead a crew of 2‑3 skilled laborers to build patios, decks, water features, fire pits, retaining walls, and other outdoor living elements • Oversee daily site operations, including site layout, material staging, and equipment use • Interpret design plans and specifications, ensuring construction aligns with the approved design and quality standards • Monitor productivity, job costs, and schedule milestones; report progress and issues to the Project Manager • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and conduct regular toolbox talks • Train and mentor crew members on installation techniques, craftsmanship, and company best practices • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for deliveries and specialty trades when needed • Communicate professionally with clients and represent Hiner Outdoor Living on job sites • Uphold YARDIST values and foster a positive, accountable team culture Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in landscape, hardscape, or construction field work • 2+ years of crew leadership experience overseeing high‑quality residential construction projects • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and compactors • Ability to read and interpret design plans, blueprints, and material specifications • Strong understanding of grading, drainage, base prep, masonry, carpentry, and horticulture principles • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Colorado Springs area • Salary range: $65,000–$75,000 per year, commensurate with experience • Simple IRA retirement plan with company match • Paid time off and holiday pay • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement If you are a hands‑on leader with a passion for building beautiful outdoor spaces and mentoring crews, we would love to hear from you.
