We are
Verdantas , a national consulting group seeking a talented
Civil Engineer III
to join our Nashville office. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful civil infrastructure and environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a background in land development and water resources design, including stormwater management, site grading, and erosion control. Responsibilities: Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design or project management Perform technical engineering work related to land development and water resources, including stormwater management design, site grading, erosion and sediment control, preparing plans for agency review, and environmental permitting Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors Be a critical thinker, self-motivated, willing to learn through trial and error, and committed to growth Qualifications: Bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution 6+ years of experience in land development civil-site engineering Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software Knowledge of green infrastructure practices Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred EIT or PE certification preferred Strong communication skills Benefits: Flexible work environment Paid parental leave Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and AD&D insurance Disability coverage 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Additional Details: Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and IT
