Fieldturf Installation Operator

The Synthetic Turf Field Installer is responsible for performing various physical labor tasks related to the installation of synthetic turf fields under the supervision of a Site Superintendent / Foreman. This role involves hands-on work, precise cutting, and attention to detail, with regular overnight travel to job sites. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in field setup upon arrival at the job site Handle and position aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings accurately Operate straight edges and tools used in turf alignment and installation Cut turf materials precisely using scissors and razor knives Install field markings and logos by embedding them into hot glue Inspect turf seams to ensure high-quality bonding and alignment Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project Support the final site walk-through to ensure installation quality Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions Collaborate with team members to support project goals Participate in cross-functional duties and support colleagues as needed Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in construction or field installation preferred but not required Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate Clean criminal background Pass pre-employment and random drug screenings Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to travel frequently What We Offer Safety is our #1 priority Competitive benefits, pay, and retirement options Career growth, stability, and flexible work arrangements Responsible Manufacturing – Protecting Our Planet for the Future Utilization of renewable energy and recycled water processes Commitment to reducing greenhouse emissions and water consumption Recognition by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation Who We Are: Tarkett, with 140 years of history, is a global leader in flooring and sports surface solutions, employing 12,000 people across 34 sites.
