Entry Level Automotive Technician – Wethersfield, CT. You will gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities
Mount and balance tires Perform oil changes and basic preventative maintenance Assist with additional automotive services under guidance Demonstrate guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting of tires and wheels as needed Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions Commitment to learning new technologies in the automotive industry Commitment to following safety policies and procedures Preferred: High School Diploma or GED Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training is a plus What We Offer
