This position will support a Life Science client in Devens, MA, working with our existing cost and project controls teams. Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost. Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal. Manage on-site project stakeholders. Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset. Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s goals and expectations to all project team members. Develop and communicate action plans that guide the project team from the initial Project Management Plan. Re-evaluate contract scope of work as the project progresses and recommend adjustments as necessary. Coordinate with cost management group for cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation. Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of documents. Drive the permitting process by designing team documents for submission to local, state, and federal agencies and ensure permits move efficiently. Ensure design management aligns with client documents (budget, scope, schedule, design standards). Prepare cost and revenue projections. Perform constructability reviews to determine reasonableness of build plans. Develop and lead design management, procurement strategies, construction, fit-out, and closeout. Contract and claim negotiations; budget development and management. Ability to run larger, more complex projects and effectively delegate tasks to the project management team. Oversee the entitlement process for unoccupied construction sites to ensure appropriate zoning is obtained. Lead the vision for project procedures and processes for running the project. Attend work during normal business hours and perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills Required

Knowledge and experience planning, managing & coordinating all aspects of project, scope and cost for multiple projects. Ability to monitor and re-evaluate scope and recommend adjustments as necessary. Experience collaborating with cost management groups to provide accurate and timely cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation. Experience with Value Engineering. Creativity and resourcefulness in managing projects in compressed timeframes. Effective written and oral communication skills. Preferred Education And Experience

Education: BS in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field Experience: 6+ years in Project Management, engineering, or construction management Preferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED Equal Employment Opportunity

The salary range for this full-time role is $115,100.00-$153,500.02 per year, with ranges determined by position, geography, client and industry experience. This range reflects base salary only and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range based on experience and qualifications.
