Our client is a leading national general contractor and developer with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial and industrial projects with precision and integrity. They specialize in medium-to-large scale ground-up builds including warehouses, distribution centers, retail spaces, and office complexes- partnering with clients nationwide who value quality, efficiency, and long-term relationships. About the Role
This is an opportunity to step into a Project Manager position with a firm that prioritizes people, process, and performance. You’ll manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, lead field and office coordination, and ensure successful delivery on time and on budget. You’ll have full ownership of your projects while working closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and design partners- all within a collaborative and high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of commercial/industrial construction projects from start to finish. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor scopes. Coordinate closely with field teams, design partners, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment. Lead subcontractor meetings, track progress, and resolve issues proactively. Manage cost forecasting, change orders, and monthly pay applications. Uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager (or Assistant PM ready to step up) in commercial or industrial construction. Proven success managing projects ranging from $5M to $75M+ in value. Strong understanding of ground-up construction, tilt-up concrete, and steel structures. Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project (or similar tools). Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and accountability. Based within commuting distance of Indianapolis (or open to relocation). What’s In It for You
