Kitchen Production Associate
T & T Supermarket
Reporting to the Kitchen Production Supervisor, this associate supports production of assigned products (BBQ, Sushi, and other cooked foods) based on orders received, controlling quality, freshness, inventory, and wastage.
Responsibilities
Produce the correct quantity of assigned products based on orders received
Perform production duties, including preparation of various perishable food items, rice cooking, vegetable/meat/fish cutting, dish stir‑frying, deep frying, and pan frying
Control product quality, freshness, inventory level, and wastage
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance, and workplace safety
Assist in answering customer enquiries
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, ensuring food safety and safe work procedures while avoiding unsafe behavior
Perform any other duties assigned by the superior(s)
Qualifications
Accountable, pleasant, and able to take initiative
Prior experience in cooking kitchen products (BBQ, Sushi, and other cooked foods)
Knowledge of workplace health & safety and food safety; Food Safe Certification required
Understanding of tools & equipment relevant to the job
Ability to communicate in English; proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous
Good organization and problem‑solving skills
Team player
Flexible to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, morning and evening hours
