Position Summary: Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment modifications, and installation support on various mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic units. Interact with dealers and customers daily and complete administrative requirements as required. Support all Life Sciences Key Accounts in Asia Pacific as well as support the Asia-Pacific Life Sciences Dealer Service network as and when required both on site and remote. Duties: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance required on all STERIS Life Sciences Equipment and related product lines. This includes disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling as required. Troubleshooting, adjusting/calibrating, and certifying equipment ready for use by using standard and specialized tools and test equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components. Controls Upgrade Service Customers by providing PMA performance, service calls, warranty calls, field upgrade programs, etc. Perform minor installations as required. Perform administrative duties as assigned to ensure effective planning, utilization, and required paperwork completion. Maintain a strong working relationship with the Director, Regional Managers and Service Manager to advise of activity/changes related to service and sales opportunities in Singapore and Asia Pacific Countries. Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with Customers, managers, support functions and the sales and dealer organization. Duties - cont'd: Respond to routine Customer and sales questions regarding equipment operation and performance. Utilize Customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all Health & Safety protocols. Plan and conduct End Users Training, First Level Training and Dealers Service training as and when required Provide Technical Support to Asia Pacific dealers through email, telephone, and on-site support as and when required 30% travel within Asia Pacific required Education Degree: Bachelor's Degree Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Required Experience: Technician Certificate or Diploma equivalent or Degree. Completion of mechanical, electrical, or electronic technical school training preferred. Excellent general knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLPs (Good Laboratory Practices). Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field of work with technical school training, or 5 years without advanced training. General knowledge of the following: Washers & Decontamination products. Principles and methods of sterilization, steam generators, Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide, Pure Steam Generator and Multiple Effect Water Stills STERIS strives to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
