About The Position… Are you ready to make an impact? As Power Design expands into mechanical work, we are looking for a Mechanical Foreman to play a critical leadership role in the success of our new projects. This means we’ll need someone to ensure all projects maintain a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll have access to innovative technologies in the field—including fully-equipped iPads—and will travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. Responsibilities:
Work closely with the project Superintendent and other trades, overseeing the assigned scope, including managing materials and manpower.
Enforce and promote high quality and safety standards.
Utilize technology such as company-provided iPads and smartphones to ensure timely project completion and exceed customer expectations.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on the designated scope.
Qualifications:
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Experience as a leader in Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing with a love for technology and a clear career path.
At least five years of experience managing scopes and running multimillion-dollar projects.
Active journeyman or master license preferred.
Proficient knowledge of IECC, ICC, ASHRAE Standards, local codes, and safety requirements.
Basic computer and writing skills required.
