Licensed Electricians – Austin, TX Position:

Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Location:

Austin, TX

Pay Rate:

$50 per hour

Per Diem:

$150 per day

Schedule:

6 days per week, 10-hour shifts (6/10s)

Duration:

3-4 months

We are seeking

Licensed Texas Journeyman Electricians

for a 3-4 month project in Austin, TX.

This role involves electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in an oil and gas field environment.

Candidates must have a valid

Texas Journeyman Electrical License

and experience working in industrial or energy sector settings.

Job Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in oil and gas field operations

Run and terminate conduit, cable trays, and control wiring

Wire and connect motors, VFDs, switchgear, and control panels

Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting on high- and low-voltage systems

Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and site-specific safety regulations

Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to maintain efficiency and safety

Job Requirements

Valid

Texas Journeyman Electrical License

(Required)

Minimum

3+ years of industrial electrical experience

(Oil & Gas )

OSHA 10 or higher certification

(Required)

Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical layouts

Experience working with rigs, drilling sites, pump stations, and industrial equipment

Must have

PPE, hand tools, and reliable transportation

Must be

willing to take a pre-employment drug test

Ability to commit to a

6-day, 10-hour shift schedule (6/10s)

for the project duration
