SUMMARY The Sr. Processor evaluates customer products, including specifications, to develop manufacturing plans and produce products according to customer needs. This position requires extensive design and manufacturing expertise, as well as an understanding of equipment costs for evaluation purposes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in all aspects of processing, including Process Development, System Layout, Process Verification, Product/Process change impact analysis, cycle time analysis, ergonomic evaluations, joining requirements (weld, SPR, TOX, etc.), staging, joining equipment selection and validation, Spare Parts, Documentation and Manuals, progress reporting, quoting, and estimating. Interprets automotive product drawings and manufacturing specifications. Considers ergonomic factors in proposed processes. Maintains knowledge of PC-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Works with Throughput Simulation and Robot Simulation Operators to verify process viability. Understands and follows safety and environmental regulations, identifying safety/environmental concerns in KUKA's facilities and customer sites. Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Performs other departmental functions as required. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates degree from a two-year college, university, or technical school; or one to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
