We are seeking adjunct science instructors for Cameron University in Duncan and/or Lawton.
POSITION TITLE:
Part time Adjunct Faculty for the Cameron University, Department of Chemistry, Physics & Engineering
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adjuncts holding this position may teach a maximum of 9 credit hours a semester.
Responsibilities will include teaching engineering courses such as CAD, Solid Works and/or Electrical Circuits which are required for our Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering.
Attending some mandatory university and department meetings.
Collecting assessment data for the courses under your instruction.
Holding office hours for your students.
The position requires the instructor to teach day and/or night classes as well as online courses.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
For courses taught in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering, a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of engineering is required plus a minimum of 18 or more graduate hours in engineering OR three years of tested experience in the field of engineering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Engineering
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
