Classification Title: End User Computing Spec I UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level Learning Spaces Technician to join Academic Technology, a unit within UFIT. This is an evening shift position. UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator. Responsibilities
Configuring and troubleshooting AV technology Configuring and troubleshooting Windows and MacOS based computers Providing support for instructors in potentially high-stress situations Fall & Spring Semesters:
Monday through Friday, 02:00 PM to 10:00 PM Summer Semesters:

Expected Salary: $20.72 an hour Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Associate's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience, but does not negate the minimum degree requirement(s). Preferred
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills: Relevant technology certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft, Crestron) Accuracy, attention to detail, and a service-centric mindset Awareness of current and emerging trends in computing and AV technologies Special Instructions to Applicants
A (Level 2) Criminal Background Screening is required. Application Materials
