Honeywell is seeking Avionics Assemblers for their Minneapolis, MN location.

As an Avionics Assembler, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot special purpose and miscellaneous light machines and equipment to perform a variety of operations. You will instruct and train other operators. You will assemble a variety of parts and sub-assemblies. You will perform a variety of calibration and test functions.

Key Responsibilities

Use the computer to access work instructions, and to access and/or input labor tracking, work in progress tracking, non-conformance tracking, configuration information, and RIP location look-ups. Set up, operate and troubleshoot a variety of assembly process machines. Set-up and perform TQC's, visual, mechanical, and electrical checks on parts, sub-assemblies, and devices. Check quality of parts being run, reposition, realign, and fasten tools and fixtures. Replace broken or bent tools and make necessary adjustments to keep machines in operation. Instruct and train other operators in all aspects of the job. Perform a variety of mechanical assembly functions such as label and nameplate making, stamping, potting, crimping, fastening, soldering, laser beam welding, wire wrap, epoxy application, masking, unmasking, and packing. Press a variety of assemblies and sub-assemblies. Perform all touch-up, rework, repair, and modification on a variety of components, assemblies, and devices. Perform any operations in the line and may be assigned to other duties when production conditions require it. Works standing and/or seated while performing duties and handles medium to heavy weight material.

YOU MUST HAVE High School Diploma OR GED.

WE VALUE Some experience as an assembler in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to complete any trainings or certifications required. Analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts. Complete work, follow up, and appropriate reporting on responsibilities. Focus on important information and identify key details. Troubleshooting skills. Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity. Creative thinking and idea generation.
