Sr Landscape Architect

GAI’s Community Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect with 6-8 years of experience in its Orlando office responsible for planning and designing various community facilities and places. Our Landscape Architecture team collaborates with all aspects of our Community Solutions Group service group as well as other departments at GAI Consultants. Our landscape architecture practice works with public, private, and institutional clients to assist with a diverse array of project types. This position is eligible for flexible hybrid work schedules and a sign-on bonus. We value creativity, sustainable design, and attention to detail, committed to promoting community health, resiliency, and equity. The Specific Duties Of This Position Include:
Participating in design leadership and production of conceptual design and construction documents for Landscape Architectural projects. Assisting with client communication and project coordination. Producing project graphics in plans, sections, and 3-D / Perspective views. Conducting site design, inventory, and analysis. Participating in team and project meetings. Supporting bidding, RFI’s, and Construction phases. Collaborating across a broad range of project types. Some travel required, mainly driving within Florida (up to 15%). Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university. Licensure in Florida. Experience with free-hand sketches, digital rendering, master site planning, and detailed site design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion. Experience in Landscape Construction Design. Strong written and communication skills. FDOT experience is a plus but not required. Why GAI:
