Where You Will Work Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States, split among three segments.
CNC Lathe Operator Duties
Manufacture products in accordance with engineering drawings
Adhere to all department and company quality standards
Check product dimensions utilizing proper equipment
Refer any issues regarding the CNC lathe area to senior leads or supervisors
Assure compliance to all department and company quality standards
Record, as required, all productivity on the company system
Clean and maintain machinery according to department and company standards
Adhere to all company safety regulations
Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Participate in and/or conduct regular department trainings (may be required)
Compensation $25-$32
Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year or more of operation experience with CNC lathes (such as Okuma, Takisawa, Swiss, Doosan, etc.).
Ability to learn to set up a CNC lathe (including work holding, kitting of tools, touching off of tools/establishing offsets, reading manufacturing drawings, and first article buy‑off) on FANUC or OSP (Okuma) controls.
