Join to apply for the Traveling Mechanical Sr Project Manager- National Travel role at Diamond Peak Recruiting Traveling Senior Project Manager – Mechanical Construction | HVAC | Piping | Plumbing | National Travel We’re partnered with a well-established mechanical contractor seeking a Traveling Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical construction projects across the U.S. This person will take ownership of complex HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes on high-profile industrial and commercial projects, including healthcare, manufacturing, education, data center, and large entertainment facilities. This is a great fit for a seasoned leader who enjoys being on the move and thrives in a hands-on, client-facing role managing multi-million-dollar mechanical projects. What You’ll Do
Lead all aspects of mechanical project delivery from preconstruction through closeout Oversee field operations, subcontractor coordination, and schedule management Manage budgets, change orders, and project forecasting on jobs $15M+ Collaborate with design teams, owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and performance standards Mentor project engineers and junior PMs to develop the next generation of leaders What We’re Looking For
10+ years of mechanical construction project management experience Strong background in HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems Proven success managing large industrial and commercial projects Willingness to travel nationally and work on site as needed Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills If you’re a senior-level mechanical professional who enjoys complex, high-impact projects and doesn’t mind living life on the road, we’d love to connect.
