Install, test, and balance energy management systems as they pertain to the installation of controls for refrigeration systems, HVAC-R, and lighting in grocery store and cold storage environments. Repair, test, adjust, or install electronic equipment such as industrial controls, transmitters, and antennas. Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction. Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff; ensure compliance with internal contracting processes regarding customer documentation and closeout processes. Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment or software; inspect components for accurate assembly and installation and identify defects. Maintain knowledge of energy management, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems (Novar, Danfoss, Emerson CPC). Maintain equipment logs documenting performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests. Read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, and manuals; determine installation procedures. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions and manage multiple variables. Troubleshoot electrical and controls problems, propose solutions, and implement them. Qualifications
Formal Education Requirement: High School OR Ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred level: Technical Degree Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of experience with HS/GED Additional Information: EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required; Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record; physically able to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds; excellent verbal and written communication, detail oriented, and highly motivated; mechanical aptitude; ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational and time management skills; high level of professionalism and diplomacy; strong customer focus and project management skills; ability to work both independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
