Position Summary Aertssen Logistics USA, Inc. seeks an experienced
Vehicle Technician
to join our Repair team. The role performs reconfiguration, diagnostic, maintenance and repair work on aerial work platforms, construction equipment, farm machinery and forklifts. The
Repair Technician
supports the repair team in resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues to ensure all equipment is delivered to customers in a safe and fully operational condition.
Responsibilities
Perform technical inspections, diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of machinery.
Identify and resolve hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults.
Follow technical diagrams, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate completion of repairs.
Use multimeters, pressure gauges and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues.
Replace parts, make necessary adjustments and verify the machine’s correct operation after repair.
Record all work performed in the application to maintain a log of services completed per work order.
Communicate complex or recurring issues to the Team Lead.
Adhere to safety standards, quality procedures and maintain an organized workshop environment.
Participate in ongoing training to improve technical knowledge and skill set.
Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs.
Ability to read and understand technical schematics and repair documentation.
Proficiency in using proper tools is required.
Team player with a proactive and safety‑minded attitude.
Physical fitness and ability to work on large machinery.
Prior experience operating construction equipment, aerial work platforms and forklifts preferred.
