in Wichita, KS. The incumbent will diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment used in heavy highway and bridge construction. The role is safety sensitive and requires following PPE and process requirements. Responsibilities

Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment such as bulldozers, graders and conveyors used in heavy highway and bridge construction. Operate in a safe and efficient manner following all PPE and process requirements. Keep work area clean, orderly and safe. Provide routine maintenance of equipment. Assemble, set up, adjust and/or repair all types of construction equipment and parts. Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints and technical drawings. Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency. Repair or replace subassemblies such as transmissions and crawler heads using hand tools, jacks and cranes. Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using gauges. Weld or solder broken parts and structural members using electric or gas welders and soldering tools. Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment and maintain service records. Fit bearings to adjust, repair or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Adjust and maintain industrial machinery using control and regulating devices. Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles. Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred or relevant experience. Must be 21 years or older and have a valid CDL license. 2-3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance. Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools; ability to repair and troubleshoot; mathematical aptitude; manual dexterity; near vision. Performance Measures
