Lead Field Service Technician, Access Control, CCTV and Security Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Field Service Technician to manage and execute the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV (IP-based), intrusion detection, and intercom systems. This role involves ensuring high-quality service delivery, and providing technical guidance and training to junior technicians. Key Responsibilities

Lead field operations for installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems at customer sites. Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems, IP cameras, video management systems (VMS), intrusion alarms, and related components. Serve as the primary technical contact for clients during on-site service and project work. Perform site surveys and assist in the design and planning of security system layouts. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and company standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to execute system installations. Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians, including hands‑on instruction and safety procedures. Document all work performed, including service reports, configuration details, and as‑built drawings. Maintain tools, inventory, and vehicles in good working order. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends. Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of field experience with electronic security systems, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Strong technical knowledge of systems such as: Access control (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, HID, AMAG) CCTV/IP video systems (e.g., Avigilon, Axis, Milestone) Intrusion detection (e.g., Bosch, DSC, Honeywell) Intercom systems (e.g., Aiphone, 2N) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements. Results‑oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion. Benefits
