We are currently searching for a Registered Cargo Tank Inspector with 3 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience for our Houston, TX location!
Address: 7600 East Sam Houston Parkway North, Houston, TX 77049.
Shift Hours:
Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm CT.
Pay Range:
$27.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience. (Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)
Demonstrated Skills
The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
Tank service and repair
Trailer suspension installation and repair
Experience with air brake systems and repairs
TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
Physical Demands
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
