Job Title: Millwright
Location: Anderson, South Carolina, United States
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $28 – $32 per hour (DOE)
Per Diem: $100 per day (must meet requirements)
Work Hours: 45–55 hours per week, with some Saturdays required
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Millwright
to join our team in Anderson, SC.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with industrial machinery installation, maintenance, and repair.
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure proper operation.
Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools safely and effectively.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including alignment, calibration, and inspection of machinery.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects on time.
Work flexible hours, including overtime, some Saturdays, and holidays as required.
Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
Journeyman Certification as a Millwright a plus.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Experience with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools.
Physical stamina and dexterity to lift, bend, climb, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional certifications in welding, machining, or industrial maintenance are a plus.
Experience with specific types of machinery or equipment relevant to the industry is desirable.
Pre-Employment Drug Screening .
Must have OSHA 10 Certificate.
