$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Investigate residential and commercial sites to evaluate the cause and origin of geotechnical failures, damages or defects. Conduct and manage forensic geotechnical evaluations; direct, review, and oversee small to large private and public sector geotechnical projects. Mentor junior staff; provide leadership, maintain client relationships; assist in marketing/business development. Provide ongoing training to engineering staff; provide direction and review of engineering work products; prepare, review and sign geotechnical proposals and reports. Qualifications
Licensed professional engineer in California (P.E.) with over 10 years of experience with a geotechnical consulting firm. Geotechnical engineering knowledge; strong work ethic; interpersonal and leadership skills; track record of successful client relationships and service. Experience with construction and earthwork activities; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Education
M.S. in Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis required. Registration
P.E. required; G.E. preferred. Seniority level
