Civil Engineer - Land Development Project Engineer

What You’ll Do as the Land Development Project Engineer Design and develop geometric layouts, water and sewer systems, drainage systems, and site development solutions, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Interpret and apply engineering principles to plans, drawings, and specifications while maintaining quality control throughout the design process. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including subconsultants, to support field operations such as surveys, studies, and construction observations, ensuring seamless integration of design elements. Assist in project planning by contributing to technical documentation, design reports, and proposal development, identifying innovative solutions to meet client and regulatory needs. Mentor and collaborate with technical staff, fostering skill development and teamwork to enhance design efficiency and professional growth. What You'll Bring to the Table Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or Engineers; Civil Engineering preferred). Licensure:
Ability to obtain PE license in Indiana (current license preferred). Experience:
8+ years of hands-on experience with Land Development projects at a civil engineering firm based in the United States with a focus on site planning, design, and/or construction. Location:
Lafayette, IN; hybrid schedule available. Software skills:
Microsoft 365, AutoCAD 3D. Adaptability:
