RSG Forest Products is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel-powered equipment, including fork trucks, loaders, and other machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with fork trucks, loaders, and other machinery. Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems is preferable. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Certification as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent training is preferred. What We Offer

Today the company is one of the largest lumber manufacturing concerns in the Pacific Northwest, producing green Douglas Fir dimension, kiln-dried Douglas Fir and Hem-fir dimension, as well as Western Red Cedar fencing.
